The Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce was pleased to welcome members and guests for our August Business Over Coffee on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Pinz Entertainment Center, a morning dedicated to networking, relationship-building, and learning from fellow community leaders.

Attendees enjoyed a great opportunity to connect with local business professionals, exchange ideas, and strengthen relationships within the Yorkville business community while enjoying coffee and conversation.

Our featured presenters for the month were Barb and Dennis Marty, Independent Shaklee Distr., Healthy Alternatives. They shared their passion for helping individuals and families achieve healthier lifestyles through nutrition, wellness education, and sustainable health solutions. Their presentation provided valuable insights into proactive wellness and healthy living practices.

We also welcomed representatives from the Kiwanis Club of Yorkville, who highlighted the organization's commitment to serving local children and families through community-focused programs, volunteer initiatives, and service projects. Attendees learned more about the club's impact throughout the community and opportunities to get involved.

A special thank you to Sweet Temptations Dessert Co. LLC for providing a delicious assortment of baked goods for attendees to enjoy throughout the morning.

We would also like to thank our facilitator, Scott Gajewski of Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp., for helping guide the program and fostering meaningful discussion among attendees.

Business Over Coffee continues to be a valuable Chamber networking event, bringing together members, organizations, and community leaders to build connections and support one another's success.
