On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, the Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce joined owners Gary and Amanda Hipperson, dance families, community members, and Chamber ambassadors for a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of Monarch Academy of Dance, located at 111 W. Hydraulic Avenue in downtown Yorkville.

The event brought together a strong show of support from local families and community leaders who gathered to welcome the new dance studio to the Yorkville business community. Guests had the opportunity to tour the space, connect with the owners, and learn more about the studio's mission to provide quality dance instruction in a positive and encouraging environment.

As the downtown district continues to grow, Monarch Academy of Dance adds another vibrant destination for local families while contributing to the energy and vitality of Yorkville's historic downtown area.
